Pergola Painting

 Here is a pergola recently painted. Timber posts were sanded and cleaned then coated with multiple coats of premium waterbased clear acrylic timber finish. The soffit and fascia were patched and coated with premium low sheen waterbased acrylic in white.

Concrete Slab

 Here are a couple of photos of a concrete slab we installed recently.

Anti Slip Stair Nosing

 Here is an example of new anti slip we installed to a flight of concrete stairs in a factory. The existing rubber strips which had been attached using contact adhesive were lifting and creating more of a hazard than they were preventing. all existing rubber strips were removed and replaced with safety yellow fiberglass strips coated with an aggressive anti slip media.

Paving and Drainage

 Here are photos of a job we completed where waterproofing installed by the original builder had failed and existing drainage installed by the builder was very inadequate and failing. To complete this repair we undertook the following work.

• Lifted concrete pavers over the concrete slab where waterproofing below had failed.
• Lifted pavers laid on clay which had sunken.
• Removed lucky stones which had been placed over clay allowing weeds to grow through.
• Waterproofed the exposed slab.
• Removed inadequate storm water pits and excavated fo lager one piece pits.
• Installed larger storm water pits and grates.
  
• Formed up then mixed and poured concrete slabs where pavers and stones had been placed on clay.
• Relaid pavers over new slabs and filled surround with higher quality stones salvaged from elsewhere on the same job.
• Re-laid concrete pavers over correctly waterproofed existing slab and rebating larger galvanised steel grates into the relaid pavers.
• All clay and other waste not required was removed from site.
  

 

Verandah Renovation

 Here is a cantilevered verandah attached to an inner city terrace we recently repaired and renovated.

• Old timber flooring was removed
• Wrought iron removed then paint stripped and repainted offsite
• All cantilevered timber bearers treated then doubled by attaching another beside each.
• New heavy duty timber planking attached to sides and end to further strengthen structure.
• New Ekodeck flooring installed.
• New handrail installed.
• All new timber repainted.
• Newly repainted wrought iron reinstalled.

 

Solar Inverter Enclosure

 Installers had located a solar inverter and ABS switch boxes externally to a steel shed and the inverter and switch boxes were being affected by UV. We constructed this steel enclosure with a lockable steel door using the same sheeting profile and colour as the steel shed and steel privacy fencing rails and posts creating a protected and lockable enclosure for the inverter and switching.

Window Installation

 Here is a job where we were asked to obtain a timber sliding window, remove overhead wall fixed cabinets and create an opening to install the window looking out onto a paved outdoor area covered with an awning we built.
